Pictures of ghosts...

Ectoplasm


This photograph was taken with an old-styled Polaroid land camera in
1959 at a location on north Damen Ave. which no longer exists. It shows
a
real girl standing on the stairs and this strange mist-like substance
which seems to be exuding from her stomach region and collecting along
the entire stairway. Some parts are translucent while others seem
visually opaque. This may be a psychic photograph; in other words
ectoplasm being produced by a living person. Externalization of thought.
Additional new information: A recent email from the person in the picture
sheds more light on this most unusual picture.
"My parents had bought a real old Mansion that had been turned into
a roomy house at that time. The rooming house was located on Damen Ave
across the street from Wicker Park in Chicago. There were all kinds of
stories about things in that old Mansion. Someone had hung themselves
in the basement a long time before we bought the Mansion. The basement
had a dirt floor it was so old. The dress I was wearing was found in a
old trunk in the basement. It had been left there by a women who did an
old vaudeville act. My mother used to let me play with lots of old
stuff that I found in that old building. There were secret passages,
going from a room to another room. It was a very interesting place to
live."

My wife and daughter were watching a Travel Channel special on haunted places
in the US. The Brown Palace Hotel was one of the places that was documented on the
program. We were going to Denver in June and my wife suggested that we check this
place out. Well, me being skeptical and all said jokingly if we found the place
maybe we could get a picture of an orb or something.

When we arrived in Denver on June 19, 2005 I picked up a rental car and asked
where this Hotel was and they said pointing down the street at some flags that that
was it. Now I was committed to going. I took 3 pictures outside and 12 pictures
inside.

When taking the pictures I did not observe anything unusual. We got home on
June 22 and before going to bed I downloaded all my pictures from my camera. I use
a Kodak Easy Share CX6445 camera. We then viewed the pictures and to our amazement
we saw the picture that I have sent you. I have no clue as to what this is. The
ships in the window behind the object are not distorted and I do not believe it
to be a reflection. The object goes beyond the window into the molding area at
the bottom. The only conclusion I can come up with is that it is a GHOST!!! I
now am a believer!

This is called :"The Brown lady of Raynham Hall:".

This photo was taken in 1936 at Raynham Hall in Norfolk, England. This
portraint of "The Brown Lady" is arguably the most famous and
well-regarded ghost photograph ever taken. The ghost is thought to be
that of Lady Dorothy Townshend, wife of Charles Townshend, 2nd Viscount
of Raynham, residents of Raynham Hall in Norfolk, England in the early
1700s. It was rumored that Dorothy, before her marriage to Charles, had
been the mistress of Lord Wharton. Charles suspected Dorothy of
infidelity. Although according to legal records she was buried in 1726,
it was suspected that the funeral was a sham and that Charles had
locked his wife away in a remote corner of the house until her death
many years later

Freddy Jackson was a mechanic in the Royal Air Force in World War I.
Freddy Jackson's squadron served onboard the H.M.S. Daedalus. Freddy
Jackson was killed in 1919 when an airplane propeller hit him. Two days
later when the squadron assembled for a group photo, Freddy Jackson
faithfully showed up, grinning behind the ear of a fellow comrade.
Guess nobody bothered to tell Freddy Jackson that he was dead. His face
was widely recognized in this photo by members of the squadron.

Rev. Ralph Hardy, a retired clergyman from White Rock, British
Columbia, took this now famous photograph in 1966. He intended merely
to photograph the beautiful staircase in the Queen's House section of
the National Museum in Greenwich, England. Upon development, however
the photo revealed a shrouded figure climbing the stairs, seeming to
hold the railing with both hands. Experts, including some from Kodak,
who examined the original negative concluded that it had not been
tampered with. Its been said that unexplained figures have been seen on
occasion in the vicinity of the staircase, and unexplained footsteps
have also been heard.

November 19th, 1995, Wem Town Hall in Shropshire, England was engulfed
in flames and burned to the ground. As firefighters tried to stave off
the inferno a town resident, Tony O'Rahilly, took pictures from across
the street using a telephoto lens on his camera. There, rather clearly
in one of the photos, is what looks very much to be a small girl
standing in a doorway, with the brightness of the flames behind her. No
one ever remembered there being a small girl present on scene, much
less in that close a proximity to the fire. The photo and the original
negative were turned over to a photo expert who decided that the
picture was 100% authentic: "The negative is a straightforward piece of
black-and-white work and shows no sign of having been tampered with."
Okay, so what's a girl ghost doing in such a big fire? Well in 1677 a
fire destroyed many of Wem’s wooden houses. The fire was said to have
been caused by a 14-year old girl named Jane Churm, who had been
careless with a candle. Churm died in the fire along with several
others, and her ghost is said to still haunt the area. Whether there's
such a thing as ghosts or not, it must be said: if this is just a
trick, an illusion of smoke and fire that happened to be captured on
film, it's a zillion-to-one coincidence that it just so happened to
appear in the form of a girl who also died in a terrible fire at the
same location. But hey, stranger things than that have happened in this
world, right?

The Newby Church Monk.

Reverend K.F. Lord took a picture of the altar at his church in North
Yorkshire, England (why are the GOOD ghosts always found in England?)
and this is what came out. The picture and the negative are said to
have been thoroughly examined by photographic experts and they can't
find any evidence that this was either a double exposure, or
artificially altered. The "thing" is calculated to be standing nine
feet tall, and no one's found any record of a monk that humongous ever
being at Newby Church. Who is it? What is it? Trick of light or
something else? Either way it's way too creepy to not mention on this
list.

The Church Minister Ghost.
According to Brad Steiger's Real Ghosts, restless spirits and haunted
places, where this photo was found, there was only one other
photographer in the church beside the person who took this picture.
Neither of them recalled seeing ghost or any flesh-and-blood person
standing there who could account for this image. Because the figure is
all in black, it has been theorized that the apparition could be that
of the churuch minister.

okay i think the creepiest one if it is real is the newby monk but it looks to perfect to be real lol!

the freddy jackson one is also VERY creepy and looks very real. the hunched figure on the staircase is also extremely disturbing.

i dunno about the robert brown guy's pic...i guess cuz its taken with a modern camera actually makes it look more fake...the older pics look alot more scarier!

i just loved the pic of freddy jackson , it's awesome , like the others are too , but to wether it's real or not , i think they are , scary of em ? not one if you ask me

Here i have one for you you just can`t debunk as not real.WHy? Because I took it myself AND it`s capped from Cathy`s cam..which will be online a.s.a.p...

Looking forward to watching Cathy's cam again. I think I have a cap or two from her place. If I can find them, I'll come back and add to this thread.

me too have some caps of cathy´s cam , and some other cams , remember the shadowperson from deb1968 cam , in the bedroom ? and some others ofcourse , i saved them all , man it's about time that cam is going to run here , thqt will be so much fun

caps from deb`s cam (with her aproval ofcourse) and Cathy`s cam i don`t mind,but let`s keep it at that...

you can post away anything you like,as long as it is from Cathy or Deb`s cam (again only with deb`s aproval )
